Greetings, animal lovers! Below is a summary of each of the latest events and happenings at Paws to get you up to speed.

RECENT ADOPTIONS

We’ve had a busy month with dogs intakes and adoptions. Ideally, we’d like to match or exceed this success with cat adoptions this month, since we’re currently home to over 40 feline friends. We give as much love and attention to our shelter animals as possible, but it can’t match the love they’d receive in their own forever home.

We managed to snap a couple of images of our adoptions this week to share with you. As volunteers, we can’t begin to express the joy we feel when we find the right homes for our shelter pets.

Paws at Northridge Plaza

Bruce Kessler from Gator’s Pizza, Pasta and Subs supported Paws Animal Rescue by allowing us to bus tables from 11 am – 3 pm today. We will receive a portion of the proceeds. Melita Hauge and her sister served pie with a friendly smile.

CATIO UPDATE

The catio is close to completion and our shelter cats are eager to get out into the fresh air. A special thanks to our hard-working contractor, Jim. He goes out of his way to make sure every project is perfect.

We have raised $4,642.94 towards construction costs so far.  This is wonderful and thank you to everyone who has donated. Please donate today to help.
