You can donate online, by mail or in person by following the steps below. You can also set up recurring payments. If you can’t afford a monetary donation, below is a wish list of items we are always in need of to take care of the shelter animals. Again, every little helps. Thank you for your contribution!

Suggested donation amounts:

Within the first 24 hours an animal is with Paws Animal Rescue, the following expenses incur. These expenses do not include daily needs like food, litter, toys, etc.

Male Cat – $130Neuter, de-worming, Revolution (fleas, ticks, & mites), FVRCP vaccine, Rabies vaccine, FELV/FIV test

Male Dog – $200 Neuter, de-worming, Nexgard, DHLP Parvo vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, Rabies vaccine

Female Cat – $150 Spay, de-worming, Revolution (fleas, ticks, & mites), FVRCP vaccine, Rabies vaccine, FELV/FIV test

Female Dog – $260 Spay, de-worming, Nexgard, DHLP Parvo vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, Rabies vaccine

Donations may be dropped off at 1530 N Lowell Avenue (behind Walmart off Airport Road):
Saturday 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.

Alternatively, call (605) 223-CATS and arrangements will be made for another drop off time or to pick up your donation.

Wish List

We request that food donations be specifically this brand and type. We have found that these work best for the wide population we care for. It is important for their digestive system that we remain consistent with the food we provide. Thank you!

• Purina One Sensitive System for Cats (hard cat food)
• Purina One Adult Dog Food (lamb and rice)
• Purina One Puppy Food
• Soft dog treats
• Bully Sticks and Antlers for dogs (please no rawhides as they can cause digestive problems)
• Nylabones
• Nexgard or Frontline for all weight groups and ages
• Peanut Butter (any brand that does not contain Xylitol)
• Temptations Cat treats
• Clumping Litter

Cleaning Supplies:

• Bleach
• Laundry Detergent (HE)

• Lysol Multi-Surface
• Large and kitchen size garbage bags

If you are unsure about what to get or what is needed, a gift card to Runnings, Wal-Mart, or Menards will be perfect and we can buy whatever is currently needed most at the shelter.
