Despite the cold weather, our catio grand opening on Saturday saw a steady stream of visitors. Our board members had given the shelter a bit of a makeover in preparation and president Brenda Manning very generously bought the supplies along with some beautiful artwork. Thank you, Brenda!! We don’t know what we’d do without you. Our wonderful volunteers worked hard to make the shelter look clean and tidy. Super Sally and Melita also baked delicious brownies and chocolate chip cookies for the occasion.

Thank you to all those who attended and to all the people who donated to make this entire project possible. Several of our kitty residents have not been outside for up to seven years, so this goes towards making their lives happier and healthier.
