FALL NEWSLETTER IS OUT

Check out the Fall 2016 Newsletter published this week. It includes information on the Catio, bios of each of our current Board members, and details of our Fall events, pet adoptions and participation in the Walk For a Dog App. You can view past editions on our Newsletter page.

PROMOTIONS THIS MONTH

• National Black Dog Day – $60 adoption fee through October 8th. Time is running out – schedule an appointment or stop in during open hours on Thursday 6th or Saturday 8th!
• October is Adopt a Dog Month – $75 adoption fee on all dogs through the end of October! View our cute pups!

With great joy and a few tears, we sent the following shelter pets off to their forever homes.

MEMBERSHIP DRIVE – WIN A PRIZE!

Remember to sign up for membership, renew your membership, or get someone else to sign up for membership by the end of the year. Your name will go into a drawing for a gas grill. Download a Membership Registration Form.

“BIG BUCKS” AND PALS SECURE CITY OF PIERRE FUNDING

The City of Pierre agreed to add PAWS to the list of recipients for 2017 funding, with a $3000 donation. President Manning visited the budget meeting, bringing out the bling with her “Big Bucks Necklace”. She was accompanied by other board members and two special guests: former shelter stars Avery Truax (Aussie) and Sam Manning (German Short-Hair Pointer).
