Pokey

Pokey is a 6 year old male collie/heeler mix. This guy is a furry delight! He is very easy going and incredibly smart. He also is housetrained and knows how to sit, shake, lay down, roll over and play fetch. In fact, playing fetch is his absolute favorite, but he also adores jumping up on the couch for snuggles and leaning into you with his whole body weight. Pokey will do best in a home with kids mature enough to interact with him respectfully, but we think he could be the best furry pal to a young human. Rescue dogs are notorious for losing their birth certificates before arriving in rescue. Any claims of breed, DOB, and estimated full grown size are strictly estimations made by our vets during exam and our shelter staff's experience.
