Paddington

Paddington is a 2 year old male mixed breed. His birthdate is 5-27-23. He came from a very overcrowded environment and will need to learn how to dog. Like the others, he is timid initially but is not nearly as shut down and forlorn as some of the others have been. Similarly, he will need a patient owner who will take the time and effort to teach him. All things will be new: potty training, being fed from a bowl, walking on a leash, riding in a car, sleeping on a bed. You get the picture. We have no doubt that he will develop into extremely sweet and loyal companions. After about 30 minutes, Paddington was following on my heels and feel asleep sitting upright with his head in my hand. He would be an excellent companion for someone who lives in an apartment or has mobility issues. Paddington is small and we expect he would be easy to handle on a leash due to his small size and easy going nature. Rescue dogs are notorious for losing their birth certificates before arriving in rescue. Any claims of breed, DOB, and estimated full grown size are strictly estimations made by our vets during exam and our shelter staff's experience.
