Milo

Milo is about 3 years old. He is a neutered male, black lab mix. Milo is very gentle and is terrific on a leash. Milo is a big guy but you'd never know it when you see him jump straight up about 3 - 4 feet off the ground. He is a special needs dog. Milo has an unreactive pupil response in his left eye. Meaning his pupil doesn’t get smaller in the light. He is sensitive to bright light. It seems to be in his right eye also, but not as much as his left. The vet thinks it is a retinal issue behind the eye. His cornea looks great, so it is not due to it being scratched, etc. We have been told that he may lose sight in his left eye, as well as his right sometime down the road. Because of this vision problem, Milo is considered "special needs". We certainly think he is a special dog. This could be why Milo isn't crazy about other dogs getting up close to him.
