About Laddie
LADDIE is an 8 week old Great Pyrenees mix male puppy. He weighs approximately 15 pounds, and is gaining on a daily basis. His thick fur is white, with a very light tan shading on his head, and ears. Laddie seems to have the personality traits of his dominant breed, the Great Pyrenees. He is very self-confident, independent, and can be a wee bit on the stubborn side. Laddie will grow up to be a very large dog, as indicated in his present size as an infant. He has just begun his potty training, and is working on the commands "sit", and "come". He is learning his name. He is crate trained, and sleeps all nite in his crate. He is a great eater, and drinks well. When he hears all the dog food pans being filled, he comes running! He is just figuring out what toys are, but loves to check out the weeds and high grass when outdoors. He loves exploring, indoors and outdoors. He shares his foster home with two cats, and other large dogs. His best friend is his housemate, another foster puppy near his age, and they play well together. Laddie is a vigorous chewer, and digger, who definitely needs things to occupy his time, and keep him busy. Laddie will be a large, strong, active, and very energetic dog. He is very strong willed, and when not allowed to have his way, he gets mad, growls, tries to snap, and throws himself around. He is getting used to being combed as his fur will require a lot of combing, this breed sheds heavily. He is getting used to household sounds, and sleeps through the vacuum cleaner...very sweet! His birthdate is 18 February 2011.
