Izzie

Izzie is a female 2 1/2 mo. old, Husky mix with soft white fur, brown eyes. She has a tail that curls over her back, and medium sized stand up ears. Izzie is a very sweet natured little girl, and is finding out that she really likes to be petted, praised, and snuggled. She is becoming more and more affectionate to her foster family, and is coming to trust that she will be cared for. Izzie is very busy now, learning all the important things that will help her be an excellant companion, and friend. At this time Izzie is working on her crate training, and is doing well; she cries for a minute or two, then settles down with her blankets, stuffed toys, and her chews. Izzie sleeps all nite, but will cry if she needs to go out to potty during the nite. She is learning to sit before she eats, for treats, and to get lots of petting. She is really having much success with her potty training, and does "pee" on command. She loves to please, and loves praise, pets, and treats for a job well done. Izzie is not a very "mouthy" pup, and usually confines her chewing to her toys and chews. She is also working hard on "come", but being a very young puppy, it is not perfected. She really loves to be doing anything her family is doing, and if nothing is going on, will sleep at their feet. Izzie is practicing riding in a car, and a truck, and is calm while traveling, but needs more work on "waiting" for her turn to get out of the vehicle. She goes for several walks on a leash throughout the day, walks nicely, and enjoys sniffing, and checking things out in her world. She shares her foster home with two kitties, and five large dogs, so is used to other pets. Izzie is becoming accustomed to household sounds, like the vacuum, radio, TV, telephone, and the sounds of regular family activities. She is learning to play with toys, and loves to run her fastest, chasing bugs and butterflies. She is a wonderful girl, with unlimited potential to be a most valued family member. Her approximate birthdate is April 26, 2011.
