Huston

Huston is an eight week old male Border Collie / Labrador mix. He is black, with a small white patch on his chest. He is a sibling to Heeley, also listed on this website. Huston is an active, curious puppy, always ready for an adventure. He loves playing with his brother, and another foster puppy near his age. He does not initiate games yet, but is an avid player. He is very interested in everything in his world, and is not afraid to check out new things, lone or with the other puppies. He is very affectionate to his foster family, and loves to be cuddled. He is not yet really interested in toys. Huston is crate trained, and sleeps all nite. He does cry if he needs to go potty. In his crate he has fuzzy blankets, stuffed animals he loves snuggling with, and his chew toys. Huston is working on his potty training, which is going very well; he walks nicely on his leash, and is learning to "sit" before his meals, treats, and pets. He loves praise and cheers for a task well done. Huston is raised in the kitchen, so is used to all household noises, and family activites. Huston is very loving and trusting, a fun boy. He will be a loving companion for his forever family. Huston's approximate date of birth is June 1, 2011.
