Heely

Heely is an eight week old male Border Collie / Labrador mix. He is black and white, with a few black freckles mixed in his white. He also has a large white tip at the end of his tail. Heely is a sibling to Huston, also listed on this website. Heely has a "wait and see" attitude, is a little more cautious, and is not one to venture very far alone. He rarely barks, and is very cuddly, and likes snuggling with his foster family. He is quick to catch on to changes in his environment, but watches to see what goes on before he does anything. He is quite content to let his brother lead, and decide what they will do, or play. Heely is crate trained, and sleeps all nite. He has fuzzy blankets, and stuffed animals to cuddle with, and chew toys in is crate. He does cry if he needs to go out to potty. Heely is just starting to play with toys, but does love chews. Heely is working hard on his potty training, and he is doing well. He is walking well on a leash, and is learning the command "sit", which he does before meals, treats, and pets. He is eager to please his foster family, and loves the praise he gets. He is very social, and enjoys playing with his brother, and another foster puppy near his age. Heely is not a terribly aggressive chewer at this point, and uses his chew toys for teething relief. Heely is raised in the kitchen, and is used to all household sounds and activities. Heely is happy, trusting puppy, lots of fun, and an all around good boy. He is looking for his very own family to love and appreciate his great qualities. Heely's approximate date of birth is 1 June 2011.
