Diamond

AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION: 28 Feb. 2011 DIAMOND is a female Border Collie / Australian Shepherd mix puppy. She has mostly white fur, with black on her head, and two tiny black dots on her back. Her approximate date of birth is 28 Dec. 2010. Her current weight at 5 1/2 weeks of age is 5 lbs. Diamond is the smallest puppy from a litter of five that have been hand raised since five days of age. Diamond and her siblings have been raised in the kitchen, and have been used to much stimulus, such as household sounds, kitties, large dogs, and comings and goings of various foster family members. Diamond is very used to being handled, and falls asleep easily while she is being held. She is learning bite inhibition, and how to be a dog, as well as her place in her "pack", with the help of her litter mates. She is the smallest pup, but takes on her larger siblings in games and chases, and frequently wins!! She is a terrific eater, and has just started eating dry puppy chow. She is a good water drinker as well. She sleeps with her siblings in a crate, and loves sleeping on fuzzy blankets, curled up with stuffed animals. She knows her routine, and is eager for her meals. She is always ready to get back in her crate after a big playtime. She is the definition of sweet and cuddly, and is a little charmer! She will be a perfect pick for a new family member!
