Meet Dakota – Healing Up and Hoping for a Home Dakota is a 3-year-old Terrier mix with a gentle spirit and a heart full of hope. Right now, he’s on a short medical hold while he receives treatment for a skin condition—but don’t worry, he’s getting the care he needs and is already on the mend. Even while he heals, Dakota’s sweet personality shines through. He’s calm, affectionate, and so deserving of a family who will love him unconditionally. Once he’s cleared, Dakota will be ready to start the next chapter of his life—a happy, healthy one in a forever home. Keep an eye on this special boy—he’s worth the wait! Rescue dogs are notorious for losing their birth certificates before arriving in rescue.
