Angus

AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION: 28 Feb. 2011 ANGUS is a male Border Collie / Australian Shepherd mix puppy. He has mostly white fur, with half his face black, and a wee little brown blended into the black fur. His approximate date of birth is 28 Dec. 2010. His current weight at 5 1/2 weeks of age is 7 1/2 lbs. Angus is the largest puppy in a litter of five that has been hand raised from five days of age. They have been raised in the kitchen, are used to much stimulus, including household sounds, kitties, large dogs, and the comings and goings of various foster family members. Angus is now beginning to play with toys, and is learning about being a dog from his litter mates. Angus is learning bite inhibition from his litter mates, and learning to find his place in his "Pack". Angus is happy, loves to snuggle, and is very used to being handled! He has just begun eating dry puppy chow, and is an eager eater, and water drinker. He knows the sound of puppy food being dished into the puppy pans, and really gets excited! The puppies sleep in a crate with blankets and stuffed animals, and after playtime on the kitchen floor, they cry to go back in their crate for a rest! Angus is one great guy, and will soon be ready for his own family!!
