Board of Directors

Long-time Pierre resident with two grown sons and a multi-pet household. Jen became involved with PAWS when her family returned to Pierre after a few years of living in Yankton and was elected to the board in March 2017. She works as General Manager of Dairy Queen and brings event planning and fundraising expertise to the organization.

Pierre native with an Associate's degree in Business Entrepreneurship. Kristi has 2 pups and 2 kitties of her own, including PAWS alumni Popeye! She started volunteering in 2018, became treasurer in January 2020, and currently serves as Dog Volunteer Coordinator.

Lana manages the financial operations of PAWS Animal Rescue, ensuring donor funds are used responsibly to care for the animals in our program.

Jenna has been involved with PAWS since 2015 when she moved to Pierre. She is a lover of all animals, but dogs hold a special spot in her heart. She finds fulfillment in getting the animals into amazing homes.

Molly is a long-time volunteer who began with cats and served as feline coordinator. She has watched PAWS grow into an absolutely wonderful organization devoted to the welfare and care of cats and dogs.

Kathy serves on the PAWS board, helping guide the organization's mission to protect and improve the lives of abandoned and lost animals in our community.
